Sleeping With Bad Boys by Alice Denham. "juicy tell-all of literary New York in the 1950s and 1960s” screams the front cover.

A clever bit of marketing that, along with the fact that the author was the only playboy playmate to have her writing published in the same issue as her centrefold. True there is some kiss and tell but it is mainly a book about the writers struggle to be recognised as a serious author in the male publishing world of the 50s and 60s. Of course it is a much better book because of this. Well worth the read.
