They say never go back

And maybe in the case of the Mersey riverside that may be true but viewing the interior of St Georges Hall was well worth it.

St Georges Hall

The magnificent organ

The stained glass window featuring St George doing battle with the dragon

Down to the River Mersey and the Liver Building that symbolises Liverpool. I wish I could say something positive about the Liverpool Museum but that ghastly lump totally cuts off the view of the Albert Docks buildings from the pier head.

The Ferry Terminal itself has now also got a Beatles Shop and a Beatle Exhibition. The whole thing is becoming a real tourist rip off now. The original Beatles museum is still in The Albert Dock complex but whether the two are combined I know not.

Admittedly my trip was rather tainted by going with a keep fit fetishist that was tearing around like the proverbial blue arsed fly.

The Liver birds reign supreme.
