Fireworks Again

Off down to the pleasure beach again for the second late night riding and fireworks session of the year. Once again it was a nice evening but a stiff breeze, enough to stop The Big One from operating. I am sure I have ridden it in windier conditions, it just happened to be blowing in the wrong direction with occasional strong gusts that could have stalled a train on its southern trip back on the largest hill. They did run an empty train while I was their but obviously decided against opening the ride.
I decided it wasn't the best conditions to ride Sky Force either, the best that I achieved was three revolutions and then a gas of wind would buffet the wings and stall the spin.
Of course this time of year it is barely dark by 22:00 just enough to make it worthwhile in fact. The musical theme this time was James Bond. A nice restful evening being happy to walk around at my own pace.
