I have just finished reading Greens for Caterpillars: The Story of Greens’ Caterpillar Roundabouts Part Two by Tommy Green. The second volume in what must be two of the best books on the fairground and its history not only on the detail of the rides and family history but also gives outsiders insights into the problems and solutions in keeping the rides up and running doing the season. Would highly recommend both books for fellow fairground enthusiasts.
